1 “Tu che sei figlio dell’universo” è tratto da “Desiderata” di Max Ehrmann, 2 “...Capire tu non puoi..." è un omaggio al cantautore italiano Lucio Battisti (testi di Mogol), 3 "...Odo augelli far baldoria..." è una forzatura de "La quiete dopo la tempesta" di Giacomo Leopardi, poeta italiano dell '800.

Tu che sei figlio dell'universo, l'ennesimo sogno perso senza lode e senza infamia. Stanno cercando te. Echi di una protesta, gli assassini sono in testa con le spranghe insanguinate, ma nessuno dice no. Senti l'odore della foresta, è iniziata già la festa. Odo augelli far baldoria, ma il sindaco non c'è. Palloncini colorati, quale preferisci: “Bianco, verde, rosso o giallo?”. La musica dov'è? Guarda che t'han scoperto, la casa brucia ancora, il fuoco è alto e non si spegne. Capire tu non puoi. La tua illogica supponenza va dal martirio all'espulsione e ognuno vuole aver ragione. Se becco quello che ostacola la scienza senza notare la differenza tra un idiota ed un ciarlatano. La luce se ne va... La luce se ne va...

You who are the child of the universe, yet another lost dream without praise and without infamy. They are looking for you. Echoes of a protest, the killers are in the lead with bloody bars, but no one says no. Smell the forest, the party has already started. I hear birds partying, but the mayor is not there. Colorful balloons, which do you prefer? White, green, red or yellow? Where is the music? Look what they found out for you, the house still burns the fire is high and does not go out. You cannot understand. Your illogical arrogance goes from martyrdom to expulsion. And everyone wants to be right. If I catch who hinders science without noticing the difference between an idiot and a charlatan. The light goes out... the light goes out...
